The best melodies and lyrics combined with the best musicians, love the music . and always playing on piano(an amateur player) ” This Guys in Love with You” , Say a Little Prayer for You,’Make it Easy on Yourself,. Your music inspired a generation of singers,musicians in the Philippines.
I was born in 1960 , as a kid , we used to watch your shows on TV , and the whole country I presume are tuned in ,and find your shows entertaining.
In a school program during high school in MCS in the late seventies, we rendered the song, ‘What the World Needs Now’, the Girls’Glee Club sang the Bacharach medley in an interschool contest in Manila.
In the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties up to now, your music is being heard by millions all over the world. I could sum up , and many would agree with me that your music together with Hal David is one of the greatest legacy of my generation.
I’m so glad to talk to you. My name is Tom Arruda. I’m a composer from Brazil and today i have the pleasure to work by a new singer, named Karyme Hass, who’s mad by me a vertion, in portuguese, of one of your hits CLOSE TO YOU.
On a little conversation with FERMATA EDITORA DO BRASIL, the owner of copyrights, left 50% percent of it’s work to us.
But the UNIVERSAL EDICT. doesn’t send no one answer about it’s case.
We are so glad in talk to you in direct about it.
We hope to have an response as soon as its possible.

ero a lucca (italia) due anni fa. Quando Burt ha cantato e suonato “alfie” solo alla fine del brano sono saltato sulla sedia e ho invitato tutti gli spettatori a farlo. C’è stata un lunghissima standing ovation. Sono sposato ha 2 figlie e sono un compositore dilettante. Ho 49 anni e ho comprato il primo disco di Burt quando ne avevo 7. Per me è più importante di beatles e rolling stones. E’ il più grande compositore di songs del dopoguerra. Caro Burt, ascoltarti mi ha reso e mi rende felice tutt’oggi. Non riesco ad immaginare il mondo senza te. Dovrebbero sostituire i farmaci antidepressivi con la tua musica. Sei un dono di Dio all’umanità. Grazie per la tua musica per la tua simpatia e per il tuo spirito. Con molto affetto Massimo Tomagnini.
