This is a pleasant surprise. The CD ‘Rare Bacharach’ has been my favorite the last few years – maybe 5? I bought it in London – it includes among others ‘From Rocking Horse to Rocking Chair’ (Paul Anka) and ‘You’re following me’ (Perry Como) and the absolutely wonderful ‘The Answer to Everything’ (Del Shannon). It is my ‘get to work in the house Elisabeth’ CD, my neighbours must be pretty fed up, unless they too are huge BB fans, which I, of course take for granted, I play it so often an frequently 2 or 3 times both CDs. — I was happy to meet up with Burt in Antwerp after the concert and showed him this CD, and I’m not quite sure he knew it existed. I had taken the precaution of leaving the CD itself back home, only brought the sleeve, so I would not be tempted to present the CD to Burt as a present! Did not expect that I could buy it again. This is very nice. Maybe I also need a new version myselv. So Thank you.. and take care everybody in this wonderful BB-land. I’m am on top of the world these days having just had my Dream of 40 Years come True. Thanks Sue, My daughter Cordelia who researched for me and got throught to a publicist for my birthday present last year, and my sister Anne for giving me the plane ticket and hotel to Antwerp as a birthday & X-mas present THIS year… HURRAY there is a God – and I know my Mother who is with him must be gigling, and my friends who have listed to my dreams all these years will be left in peace..
