Saw Burt’s concert in Adelaide on Monday night (April 16th). Outstanding show, truly great and while he won’t likely be doing another tour with symphony orchestras I’m hoping he gets back for another tour soon. WIth any luck I can catch him again in Sydney later this tour.

Always admired Mr. Bacharach’s music but we had the opportunity to see him live a few years ago and no doubt it was the best concert we have ever seen. And since we have been going to music venues for close to 45 years that’s the highest tribute I can give him.

We got tickets and luckily got Row 1 K in the Champagne section from online at the San Diego Symphony website. I tried a few times on different days to see what tickets we would get and then when I saw Row 1, we decided to buy! The middle sections were no longer on sale. This is the first time we’re watching Bacharach live!
