Re: Kiki Dee

And few remember that she was the first British person to sign with Motown, and that her duet with Elton John was Elton's first British #1.

I know the "Are You Kidding Me Tour" is just over but...

Our favorite legendary composer is not slowing down...in fact I think he's ramping it up a bit. Its not my place to make announcements but I do know the fans will be happy this fall and winter

Re: in London

Re: BURT IN BOURNEMOUTH

I spoke to my inside source who doubts at this time that Elvis will be in the building. Even though New Milton is only a few miles from Bournemouth ( and it was meant to be a joke for the other person on this site who knows that part of the south coast) 5 hours from Essex is ridiculous I got to Berw...

Re: Dionne Warwick's new Tony Hatch penned single released

There is nothing about the song which could identify it as a composition by Tony Hatch or any other reasonably competent song writer. It reminds me of one of the new "trendy" hymns introduced by the Church of England in the 1960-s. Compare it to "That's What Friends Are For". David

My Potassium, magnesium and vitamin D levels are all excellent, as is my thyroid gland, although I did expect to have a transient thyroiditis with this infection. But no.

Marlene Dietrich on Desert Island Discs- why not Burt???

For those of you who are not familiar with Desert Island Discs, it is a uniquely British low key radio show that lasts about 30 minutes and the celebrity is interviewed by a nice person whoask them to select 8 tracks with which they would be content to be stranded on a desert island. The show has be...
