Rhetorical question for the Peanut Gallery of Bacharachians:

Could any of you imagine any of this-namely Ms. Warwick's appearance on such a quality TV show, the WALK ON BY award, the respectful (also gossip-free/Whitney-free) way she was treated by the interviewer-could any of us imagine ANY of this happening in her own country?

Yeah, I didn't think so. Boy, the Brits have class, not to mention taste. Excuse me now, but the Lifetime Achievement awards for Snoop Dogg and Ol' Dirty Bastard are about to be announced.

"Now" entered the official UK Albums Top 100 charts at position No. 57 for the week -3rd November 2012 today.

I wasn't expecting much from this. I'm not a great fan of much of Dionne's recent work and the voice is, as others have said, inevitably much diminished. However, I really like the samples great songs beautifully sung. I'll be ordering this CD for sure. Nice to have Dionne deliver a strong album again.
