Hi all,

Am new to forum but been a long time Bacharach fan.

Saw him play in Perth Western Australia last Monday.

Was fantastic!!!!!! Highlights for me was his "Movie medley" which included Burt singing "Alfie' and "Wives and Lovers" and the instrumental "look Of Love." Gave me goosebumps!

A real surprise was Butch Cassidy's " Come touch The Sun." Beautiful!

Got a great crowd reaction.

Yes, Nowmedical, I do: but I am currently restrained from revealing what is happening next out of respect for my daughter's employer.

I saw Burt perform with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House on Friday night - a great concert!!

Here are some links -

http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/mus ... 1xdas.html

It mentions a new musical - a collaboration with Elvis Costello.

An interview from a local radio station -

(this is also available as a podcast from iTunes (at least in Australia), search for 2GB Alan Jones and then find the Bacharach interview)

Great thread for me. Didn't know Burt was playing Come Touch The Sun. And David Noble's links made my day.
