Based on the Oscar-winning 1960 Billy Wilder comedy The Apartment, about an insurance-firm accountant who lets his bosses use his New York flat for extra-marital nooky, it takes us back to an age when men were men (lecherous, and only superficially chivalrous) and women were, more often than not, secretaries, only assertive up to a subservient point.
