Burt Bacharach announces Brighton concert
The illustrious Burt Bacharach has confirmed he will perform at the Brighton Dome on Monday, July 9, 2018, following on from two performances on July 6 and 7 at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Bacharach will be performing some of his greatest and most notable hits, including Alfie, Anyone Who Had A Heart, The Look Of Love, That’s What Friends Are For, and I Say A Little Prayer.

Burt Bacharach is at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley for a four-night run March 22-25. Share story You thank him for “Alfie.” You thank him for “I Say A Little Prayer” – especially the Aretha Franklin version. Burt Bacharach announces new London shows this summer
Burt Bacharach has announced two massive shows at the London Festival Hall for 2018. The legendary songwriter and composer will perform live with a full symphony orchestra on July 6 and July 7. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, March 16. They can be bought here.
Just received word of a newly confirmed concert date. Burt and his band will perform with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra at Heinz Hall on April 10, 2018. Tickets are now on sale.
Burt’s never-ending tour continues in 2018. In addition to the Rancho Mirage date I posted last month, I just received confirmation of two new concert dates.
On March 17, Burt and his band will perform at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, Arizona, and from March 22 to March 25, Burt returns to Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley in Seattle.

Just received confirmation that Burt will play a four-night residency this fall at Blue Note Hawaii. The dates are Oct. 12-15. These shows are the latest in a series of smaller venue concerts Burt has been performing in the last few years, so if the idea of seeing Burt in the more intimate setting of a jazz club appeals to you (and if you’re able to get yourself to Honolulu), by all means make plans to attend. On May 15, Contante & Sonante, an independent label based in Madrid, released Burt Bacharach and Tonio K: Original Demos, a new CD containing 14 original songs written by Burt and Tonio K. between 1995 and 2008. The album includes the original studio demos for songs later recorded by artists including Chicago, Randy Travis, Diane Schuur, Dionne Warwick, Ron Isley and Burt himself. The release also features extensive liner notes from Tonio K. telling the detailed story behind each composition and demo session.

Just got word that Burt’s canceled show at the Smith Center in Las Vegas on Feb. 10 has been rescheduled for Aug. 4 at the same venue. Visit the Smith Center website for ticket info.
