That should be a great show. I attended Burt's concert there a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. The subway ride back to 168th Street, on the other hand, wasn't so much fun.

I was lucky enough to pick up a CD of "On the Flip Side" in Japan a few years ago. Even though I bought five or six Bacharach CDs there, I wish I'd bought more. If I recall correctly, all (or most) of Burt's solo albums were reissued on CD in Japan in the 1990s. I'm still trying to nail do...

Yes, Burt does know about it, although I can't imagine he spends much time lurking here. He and his people are aware of the site, though, and they routinely send me items that may be of interest to fans to post on the site.

The correct date is May 12, 1928, making Burt 76 years old as of a week ago.
