It all sounds just too much! I only hope I am lucky enough to meet him when he tours down under in Feb - they are kind of strict about people hanging around here after shows/concerts. I will give it my best shot that is for sure! Thanks for sharing your experience.

Actually Cilla's version wasn't local as I grew up in Australia. I have only heard hers an Dionne's version.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions I guess, but as an English person I grew up hearing Cilla singing Alfie and it is my preferred version.

That was absolutely wonderful! How handsome he was - ooh! Thank you for posting this!! It is so good to see him at work like that.

I first want to thank those who guided me to the early Sceptor recordings of Dionne as I heard those songs as though they were new. My question is with regard to the non Bacharach/David tunes on these early albums. Did Burt produce and arrange these? Also, did he play piano in the recordings? Regard...

Can someone please tell me how I can obtain a copy of these songs? All of your words are making my mouth water to hear them!! It is amazing that even though the songs are old they sound brand new to me.
