Related to this is a reference in this aticle/interview with Burt to an intimist musical he'd be writing for the theater with Sater. Also, from the article, not only Burt would launch a record with British artists, but such record would not be comprised of new songs, as we were told somewhere else (where?) but with "less-often recorded songs". (Was Burt himself who was said to have said that the songs would be mostly new?)

Às vésperas de seu 81º aniversário, Bacharach não dá sinais de cansaço. Muito pelo contrário: ele está cheio de planos. Um deles é “um musical intimista” para o teatro, que está escrevendo com o letrista Steven Sater, coautor (ao lado do compositor e cantor Duncan Sheik) de Spring Awakening (baseado na peça Despertar da Primavera, do dramaturgo alemão Frank Wedekind), grande vencedora do Tony, prêmio mais importante da cena teatral de Nova Iorque, em 2007.

Outro projeto de Bacharach é a gravação de um CD que reuinrá algumas das maiores vozes femininas da nova geração britânica, como as vencedoras do Grammy 2009 Duffy e Adele, cujo estilo retrô cai como uma luva no cancioneiro do norte-americano. “Mas elas não vão cantar minhas composições mais conhecidas, não. O repertório será composto por canções menos gravadas. Vai ser ótimo.” Alguém duvida?

This is the best new i ever heard in the last years about our loved Maestro! In fact we are quite tired for hearing at every concert, more or less, and in every video, the classics, evergreen but " standard " songs! Burt is able to do much more than this! The time is so short......we hope will be enough!
