I just received some family history data from a distant cousin and learned that I am a 3rd cousin to Burt's wife!!! I was going through the list of names in my family and suddenly... there was Burt.
That means that Burt's wife and I share the same great-great-grandfather, and my son is a fourth cousin to Burt's kids. Pretty cool for a fan, eh?
