A beautiful live performance from 1998. ........... This was nearly 30 years after the BB/HD/DW peak period with Scepter Records in the 60's ........ Looking over the tracks and artists on the "One Amazing Night" CD - it's difficult to figure out how this performance was an "outtake"! ........ Haven't listened to this TV show soundtrack in a long time! ... I will do this!

This is completely amazing! I can't believe I've not heard it before. An absolutely stunning performance. It's Dionne at her best for me. Thank you so much for posting it. Dionne said that Luther Vandross had the definative performance of this song but she was being kind. This is most definately it.
