"This Christmas"

"This Christmas," Dionne's collaboration with Burt, produced by Rob Shirakbari, is now available for download on iTunes. The song is from "Some Lovers." I kind of stumbled onto it. It is a really beautiful production with a warm and smooth vocal by Dionne. Outstanding!

As always, I really wanted to like this but it just sounds like something deemed not quite bland enough to have been churned out with the rest of the `80s sludge and so tacked on to this stillborn project.
I`m so used to pissing off people here that I`m happily calling now for Some Lovers to be decently buried in favor of one last, great Bacharach studio album.
