The Bacharach/Jene Miller song, "With A Smile" is from a Japan Nippon Colulmbia Triad cd "Tribute to Burt Bacharach" (1994). Nine tracks: "I'll Nver Fall In Love Again" by 5th Garden, "The Look of Love" by Soul Bossa Trio, "Are You There (With Another Girl)" by Carnation, "Make It Easy On Yourself" by Kyoto Jazz Massive, "Me Japanese Boy" by Pizzicato Five, "Bond Street" by les 5-4-3-2-1, "The April Fools" by The Cozy Corners, "Mulino Blanco"(an instrumental) by Burt Bacharach and "With A Smile".
The cd liner notes give no info about Jene Miller. All of the tracks, except for the two Bacharach ones, give producer and musician credits.

Blue, as you can see Jene Miller's 'With A Smile' has been discussed on this thread before but what wasn't mentioned is the musical phrase in the song which Bacharach used again for his and Elvis Costello's 'Tears at the Birthday Party':

Blue, Tony Hatch wasn't called 'Britain's Burt Bacharach' for nothing. I recall that he wrote a wonderful arrangement of B&D's 'Try to See it My Way' for Jackie Trent on one of their duet albums from the late 60s/early 70s which sadly has yet to appear on YT. So instead here's the alternative version of the song from the 'On The Flip Side' soundtrack featuring Ricky Nelson and Joanne Sommers.

Hank Marvin, undoubtedly one of the UK’s most influential guitarists, has an album of instrumentals in the UK’s Top 10 at the moment which includes ‘Alfie’. My favourite instrumental version of ‘Alfie’ will always be George Martin’s beautifully orchestrated recording from his ‘By George’ album from 1967, alas not on YouTube, but Hank Marvin plays the melody with his usual sensitivity on his trusted Fender Stratocaster:

A few unusual occurences in this concert from Dionne Warwick. She has a much more comprehensive band than is usual - not her own, but Rob Shrock does appear to be on piano and conducting.

She performs the full length version of Walk on By, she performs Hasbrook Heights with Rumer, and also performs I Say A Little Prayer in the traditional arrangement (albeit in a lower key)

Her voice does seem to be a lot better now she is doing less shows.
