I saw this at Cadogan Hall a couple of years ago, and it was surprisingly good.

This show was first performed at the Cadogan Hall on Valentine's Day 2012 and has returned to the same venue three or four times since, the show from 2013 with Paul Gambaccini narrating being broadcast on BBC Radio 2. It's obvious that the various singers involved with this show over the years have a great empathy for the material and it's a shame that this time they're playing away from central London at the Barbican Hall in the middle of Christmas week, traditionally the quietest time of the year for live entertainment outside of pantomimes.

I agree with you about the Barbican. My parents live there, and on weekends and holidays it's deserted, tumbleweed.
