While I was initially put off by the ridiculous "First new music in 15 years" hype surrounding its release, I found the song itself to be immediately attractive and also quite haunting once I'd listened to it a few times.

Yes, the beguiling intro really draws you into the song and there's a killer chord change in the chorus which occurs on the word "Rome".

I think it's easily the best song I've heard from Bacharach since the still yet to be recorded 'With A Voice' was premiered in London two years ago.

In the bridge after the line, "And the bells ring out their reminder", there's a bell-like figure played on the keyboards that reminds me of a very similar effect in the song 'In The Darkest Place' after the line, "There's light enough to find my way", at the end of the second verse:
