Two tracks that I'm assuming were originally intended for Rumer's Bacharach & David album released in 2016 have just seen the light of day on the second volume of her 'B-Sides And Rarities' compilations. Listening to 'The Windows Of The World' in particular I can't imagine on what grounds it was decided to exclude it from the Bacharach & David album.

Re: Rumer: Two More Bacharach & David Songs
Rumer's version of The Windows Of The World is far more poignant and touching than any of the tracks on her Bacharach & David album and its exclusion doesn't make any sense at all. With just twelve tracks and a running time of around forty-five minutes it wasn't as if there wasn't enough room for its inclusion.
Re: Rumer: Two More Bacharach & David Songs
On Windows of the World Rumer has that heart tugging Karen Carptenteresque solemn timbre to her voice. It really brings life to every word of the song. Wives and Lovers is a new fresh arrangment but still honors Bacharach's geniuss.
