Sony/BMG offers the artist the option to add the copy protection
to their work or not. Apparently, Mr. Bacharach optioned to have
it added to At This Time. So much for "Share The Joy and "Let
The Music Play" eh?

Streisand did not add copy protection to her new release Guilty Pleasures
but Neil Diamond did to his CD 12 Songs. Carly Simon said "no" to Moonlight
Seranade, while Carlos Santana said "yes" to All That I Am.

It all depends which side of the fence one falls on as weither or not to support
the artists who opt to have copy protection added. Boycotting is always your
option as a consumer.
