Lost Horizon Instrumental Score

Does anyone (perhaps the administrator?) know if thre is any chance that the instrumental score (as opposed to the official soundtrack) for Lost Horizon will ever be released?

I think we've gotta hope for a DVD release of the new
print (premiered last week or so in Hollywood) of LOST
HORIZON, with a music-only track which would isolate
the rarely-heard instrumental score.....

Lost Horizon was released on laser disc a few years back and the isolated instrumental score was part of that package. I got a cassette of it I could dub for you (if I can find it) or perhaps someone could burn you a CD of it.

Thanks, Keith -- "I Might Frighten Her Away" is my favorite song from LH, and Burt's demo is indeed, as Blair put it so eloquently, a beautiful little gem, as only the Maestro could perform it himself. Gorgeous!

Keith: At the risk of placing myself in the analogous position of Erwin in Nabokov`s A Nursery Tale (snooty lit reference, I know)--if you could part with the rest of Burt`s Lost Horizon demos I, for one, will ask for no more. Even if you can`t , thanks again for all you`ve done!

Now where can I buy the DVD of the movie?? I've even asked my friend Olivia who was in the film and still...I personally loved it as a youngster, despite its flaws. Love the music, too! Such an inspiration.
