I love the song to begin with and I enjoy this version very much. This version is different from Burt's version -- the one he had on his album. I can't swear that this version was orchestrated by Burt. However, he could have orchestrated it, and maybe scored it this way since it was in the movie itself.

I never heard this version until just now. I see that it's slightly different with a slight change in the lyric.

This is the song that brought Burt and Dionne back together again. It's so beautiful and Dionne's voice is so magnificent. A truly great song.

So easy to see why Dionne became a legend

This is from 1966 when Dionne was on some television show singing "Message to Michael". The voice, the song, the presentation, the elegance of Dionne: all pure brilliance. And she got to sing Burt and Hal's songs. It never was better than this.

"Promise Her Anything" (yet another version)

I think this version is very good and well worth listening to. I think this version shows how melodious this song really is. This song is new to me and I think it's a very catchy song. And it has "Burt Bacharach" stamped all over it.
