Gabba, you are right about mario biondi.
I`ve searced for other material of this guy and listened to it.
But still, in my personal opinion i DON`T like it at all the way he sings and pronounce!
Sorry for all the italin fans to say that he is great.
I don`t think that he is a real singer but just a performer?
Am i wrong about this?

Marcel,RISPECTFULLY, did not like at all the way the Late- Sacha Distel - sung Burt's songs with his horrible and strong french accent!On thjs forum we all express our free opininions .Let's just give Mario Biondi a great opportunity for his carreer.Regardless of our personal preferences and musical preferences and tastes.TO BE FAIR we shuold express our opinions after the event tkes place,not before.

I wish that other great Italian guys like Andrea Bocelli or Eros Ramazotti would perform songs from BURT!
These are "great" singers!

well...Marcel..let's say that even those two guys (Bocelli and Ramazzotti),cannot dare even to think or attempt something about Burt!!!
Bocelli is well enough to sing a couple of pop songs in his native language ,and Ramazzotti we may say it's a good composer but the voice is not a real voice...very personal but nothin' more...at the end of the game Mr.John Pagano is more than enough to perform the music of the OLD MAN!!!

Hello Gabba, sure you are right about Bocelli or Ramazotti.
But what i meant to say is, when they would try to sing a song from BURT , i think that they will put more emotion in to it than that other guy biondi .
Sure Ramazotti has his typical kind of voice, but the emotion is for real!
And about mr. Pagano (italian name?) yes he sounds American!
I DON`T FEEL EMOTION BY biondi!!
When you hear a song and you close youre eyes, try to flow in it and let it move youre heart and soul.
Maybe then you will know what i feel about emotion .
We all can sing a song but the secret is to express the feeling and bring the message!
