An Enormous BB Fan wrote:I just now have come across this song, entitled "Nothing In This World", composed by Burt with the lyric written by Philip Nigel Lowis. Have any of you heard of this song? Engelbert Humperdinck sings it here and it's a beautiful song which, I imagine, not too many people have heard. Tell me what you think:

Enormous,
Thank you for that amazing song !!! :D
Here's another classic performance from Engelbert ..........

One of the very last records the legendary British record producer Joe Meek made before
his death.
He was once compared to the now notorious Phil Spector...
One of my very favourite Bacharach / Hilliard tracks !

This musical number is probably not known by too many people. It's from the Broadway musical "Promises, Promises" and it's sooooooo Burt Bacharach! When you listen to it, you can almost see Burt's face in the music, it's that identifiably Burt! I hope you like it!

Hello everyone!
Sir Richard Harris sang two my favorite,
one is beautiful "Didn't We" and "If I Could Go Back".
I remember the TV special for almost forty years ago.
I taped it with microphone from TV set, because there were no personal video systems yet.

Yes, blueonblue, I agree totally! I might add that I think that Burt is actually appreciated more in Japan than here in the United States. And thanks for turning me on to Akira Fuse. He does a number of wonderful versions of Burt/Hal songs.
