Enormous, you're very welcome.
Incidentally, Akira Fuse was once married to Olivia Hussey who starred in "Lost Horizon"

Enormous,
It's great to hear some of the lesser-know Bacharach pieces being played for a change !
"Grapes Of Wroth" from "Promises, Promises" and an excerpt from "South American Getaway"..........superb !

Thanks for sharing ! :D

blueonblue,

It's my pleasure to share this. And I thought the same thing -- how great it was (and kind of unbelievable) that they were playing the unknown and fantastically superb "Grapes of Roth". I actually did a double-take when it started! I also wondered where they got the charts because they did a great job with it. Imagine that all of Burt's compositions were a pie. Most people are eating only a small piece. I feel like saying to them: "Eat the rest already, there's so much there!!!" So I'm glad that this orchestra is eating more of the pie!

Theme from The Apartment
(The Key To Love)

----------------------------------------
Airport Love Theme

I overheard this yesterday as part of an attachment to a message my wife recieved by e-mail. I wanted to listen to it again, and so I did. The way it is set up to pickup steam, and such beautiful piano and violin voices...
Vincent Bell had a version of Nikki that I used to like a lot. Haven't listened to it in many years, so am not even sure I would find it that beautiful.

Ya know, I always thought Herb Alpert complimented Burt Bacharach's music very well. That song is on one of his greatest hits albums. I used to like to listen to it while I was driving around.
