Barbra Streisand singing a Richard Maltby and David Shire number Starting Here Starting Now. Sounds very similar to Wanting Things.

Alot of Petula Clarks songs sound like Bacharach songs. While not a dead ringer for Big Bach the quirks of " The Cat in the window" remind me of a Burt composition especially in the string section. The ending however is a huge divergence from how Burt would end a song I had to listen to it a couple times to confirm that is how the song in fact ended.

Flugelhorns and French horns always make me think of Burt. The backing singers sound like Burts backing singers. A couple other Hatch/Trent compositions have been dead ringers and this is pretty good. The womping tuba is so Burt as well.

Diane Dane β€œMy World Is Over” check it out:

I felt like the horns were very Bacharach sounding and the little chimes as well. Let me know your thoughts πŸ’ πŸ˜‡

... This could have been seamlessly incorporated into the Broadway Play: "Promises Promises" soundtrack! .... Obviously influenced by Burt & Hal's compositions!

The last ten seconds of an Edith Piaf song may have influenced alot of Burt's later motif's after 1962. Burt had a very close relationship to Marlene Dietrich and Edith was basically her protege. The last ten seconds of the song Γ€ quoi Γ§a sert l'amour is more Bacharach than Bacharach himself. It sounds identical to a Bacharach song I cant put my finger on as well.

The "deleted" video contained the track 'Things To Do' from Petula Clark's rare 1970 album 'Conversations In The Wind'

There's more than a "hint" of Burt here.....
Performed by Italian composer Alessandro Alessandroni the "whistler" on many of Ennio Morricone's scores.

Phyllis Hymans " Somewhere in my lifetime" composed by Barry Manilow could pass for a Bacharach/ Bayer Sager song.
