I love this Burt composition entitled "Money" which was part of his great score for "Arthur". I'm guessing that not too many people are familiar with this Burt piece. I think it's extremely catchy and fun to listen to... duh! I mean, it's Burt, so that goes without saying. Hope you enjoy it!

I've never heard this song before. Are any of you familiar with it? It says that Burt and Hal wrote it. So I checked at Ascap to make sure (line at bottom). I have to admit that it doesn't sound too much like a Burt and Hal tune to me. My guess is that this is a true rarity.

When you click on the link below, type "Let the love come through" in the search bar and you'll see that, indeed, Burt and Hal did write this song. (You may like this ASCAP database too.)

I came across this oh so beautiful duet and thought I'd share it. Dionne's voice is just so beautiful here and goes so nicely with Tom's. (I know Burt didn't write this song. Lionel Richie did, and it's just so so good.)

Here's Johnny Mathis singing "Odds and Ends", which happens to be one of my favorite Burt/Hal songs.

Enormous,
"Let The Love Come Through" is a vocalised version of the instrumental track (10)
"Flying Saucer-First Stop Berlin" from the "Casino Royale" soundtrack.
And you're quite right......it's an absolute rarity !!!

PS
Another "vocal" version also exists by the Australian female vocalist Janice Slater (1968)

It was disabled over 2 years ago (perhaps due to my other videos)
But I have put it back for quite some time already
Here is the link :

Yes, the sight of the birds is as awesome as the song itself

Hi Rio,
Thank you for these two wonderful "clips" !
The version of "Us" reminds me very much of the Carpenters...superb !
Incidentally, have you ever heard the Tom Jones version....Astounding !
Always thought Stephanie Mills was vastly underrated, still waiting for the brilliant
"Living On Plastic" to appear on "YouTube" !!!
Anyway, I've "waffled" on long enough !

Take Care,
"blue"
