Unknown song covered by Dutch singer Martine Bijl

Post by aprilfool »

Hello fans!
Happy New Year...One step at a time...Can anyone help me with a single, I think it was late Sixites, mid-Seventies, in the Dutch arrangement and production it has jingle bells it sounds like a Carpenters song..Did Burt make any Christmas records?
It was covered with the Dutch title "Ik heb een nieuwe singel" by stand up comedian and actress Martine Bijl...
I am desperate to find the original version!!!

It´s probably based on Burt´s "The Bell That Couldn't Jingle". I posted that song for you, so you can download it and compare.

Cheers from Germany!

Yes,maybe because our languages are a bit alike - that is indeed the original! I found it was done by Bobby Vinton and Herb Alpert and Tijuana Brass..Lovely sweet song!
Then Jack Frost froze a teardrop, so it time that it swayed..the bell that couldn't jingle..
vintage Burt!
