searching for a song

I have just joined and would like to know if anyone has a clue if Burt produced a song either titled "Yet I know" or has those words as part of the song.

The song you are looking for is entitled "Whoever You Are I Love You" taken from the Broadway production "Promises, Promises" staged in 1968. Excerpt: "Sometimes your eyes look blue to me, and YET I KNOW, they're really green."

Well, I could be wrong here, but I think the lyrics to the song, "Whoever You Are I Love You," actually go, "ALTHOUGH I know they're really green," not "and yet I know..." The "although" lyric makes for an internal rhyme, which is generally prized as more effective.
