I just now went to youtube.com to listen to Dionne and Jeffrey Osborne sing "Love Power", which they did on "The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson" at the time the song was released. I often have gone to youtube and listened and watched them do that great song. When I did my search, the song didn't show up and I was very puzzled by this. So then I did another search and the picture that you would click on was there... but when I clicked on it, I didn't get the song... this is what I saw...


"This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Carson Productions Group because its content was used without permission."


This is what I've been dreading: that a lof the great videos on youtube.com will be removed due to copyright infringement in the same way that Napster was shut down and is now back with one difference: you have to pay. I hope youtube doesn't go in that direction.

i too was disappointed when youtube removed the American Music Awards video of Dionne singing TWFAF. that's when i found out there are several free programs you can download that capture video from youtube and other web sites. the one i use is vdownloader. do a google search and you'll be directed to a portuguese website of the developer who allows you to download for free. enjoy!

Thanks, I'll check it out! I don't ever want to lose some of these quite historical videos!!
