Now,
As you realize, Burt and Hal wrote songs with the idea of pitching them to legitimate top 40 singers, who tried ( and oftern succeeded ) to make hit records.
Now, What I want to know is...
What actors or dancers used Bacharach-David material on TV or on an album?
It's a tough question, but I can start if off by remembering Juliet Prowse dancing a routine to Do You Know the Way To San Jose( on a Burt special)
Rex Harrison singing If I could Go Back (on anothert Burt special)
Joel Grey of Caberet singing Anyone Who Had a Heart ( on yet another Burt Special. )
Marlene Deitrich sang Message To Micheal ( In German )...
Ed Ames ( Mingo The Indian on Daniel Boone TV Show ) recorded Nikki...
Merv Griiffin( talk show host ) Along Came Joe
Dick Van Dyke( TV Actor ) One Wheel On MY Wagon
Who else...any one like William Shatner (who recorded Lucy in the Sky (by Lennon and McCartney) or
other actors?)
I suppose there might be information on the discography page that might support more answers..

Just having fun..but interesting ...

Monty Python.........raindrops keep fallin' on my hedgehog.
Bobby Van....dancing to ...This Guys in Love with you and performing
..Question me an answer..[Burt tv special]
And a BBC tv musical they did a few years ago called
"The Look Of Love" starring several actors including Daniel Massey
singing Bacharch/David songs.....from what I can remember ?

Blue,
Paul Frees was probably the most famous voice actor in history...
but unknown to the public.
His list is long of his voice overs... a lot for Disneyland...
Haunted Mansion-Pirates of the Carribean-Monsanto Ride(Inner Space)
Ludwog Von Drake(DisneyCartoon Character) Boris battenoff(Rocky and Bullwinkle Show,etc...
The album he put out was indeed obscure, but was available at a big music store from the 60's and 70's called Wallich's Music City, here in Southern California( several Locations ), including downtown Hollywood..
all now defunct.
