One Off rallies from last to win San Marcos

ARCADIA, Calif. - One Off, a 7-year-old gelding ridden by Brice Blanc and owned by Burt and Jane Bacharach, won his first stakes in Sunday’s $150,000 San Marcos Stakes at Santa Anita.

One Off rallied from last in the final quarter-mile to finish three-quarters of a length in front of Notable Guest. The winner paid $24.80.

One Off raced again. The pdf link says all I know about today's Grade II race. One Off didn't win, but it was close. Perhaps too close.
