for others who are reading this...I found out the answer...
The answer is Bobby Vinton himself..he had a lot of arranging experience, and this is not generally known......
While still on the subject of Bobby Vinton, my fav. song of his is in
fact a bacharach rarity called Charlie
I have posted the video long time ago , so here it is (for
those who haven't heard it )

It is simply wonderful.

I love that song so much. It has the Bacharach quality that I love so much. I'm playing it over and over now. (Do I hear a little "Lost Horizon" piano riff going on it it, too?) Thanks!!

P.s. That's a post-Hal song, right? Did Carole Bayer Sager write the lyric do you know? It sounds so much like her.

Possibly due to a misunderstanding a while back, SteveO and Keith didn't get along well... I do hope it was a misundestanding -- however sad misunderstandings certainly are --, for I always had the best impression of both. Unfortunately, early impressions do tend to color the interpretation of later events. This is not a bad thing in itself, but there's a cost associated with it.

At this point I guess I wouldn't be able to contribute much to mend things between them. Besides, they both have a life and probably would have a laugh at my expense if I tried...

I just want to say that I wish Steve would stick around. I see both guys as great assets to the forum and I bet most here do too.

Finally, this is as good an opportunity as any to say that Keith changed my life since he started sharing his precious recordings with us. I will be always grateful and willing to reciprocate however I can.

Hey, don't let the love of the music get lost here. If you two can't get along just ignore the negative and concentrate on the love........it always wins. So as long as this is a free country we all have different opinions but nothing so bad as to check out k? Mom is off the soapbox now lol.
Peace please. If we can't get along with our neighbors, how can we ever expect world peace?
Love,
Alvina
