Does anyone know if this rare Bacharach song actually exist's ???

In all my extensive searching, I've never found conclusive evidence one way or the other. Any Torme collectors out there in 'Netland?

There is indeed a song called "anthem" that Burt wrote. It is listed in ascap.
The person to write to regarding whether or not Mel Torme recorded this tune would be Daisy Torme, his lovely daughter.
She has a website....

Let's hope we receive a reply.
The only other information was from Mr Dominic's book,
as follows............"Anthem (Burt Bacharach) The title is listed with
ASCAP, but no other information is given, not even the writer.
According to the website "The Hitmaker Archive" a recording of this
song by Mel Torm'e exists."

I must say, after doing a lot of research on this song, it fails to come up on any discographies of Mr. Mel Torme as well as associated web searches...
hmmmm....
The only thing I see is an answer perhaps from Daisy Torme, or calling the ASCAP number provided on the registration to inquire about the particulars of the song...
Unfortunately, the Ascap and BMI catalogs don't give very much
information on songs, and certainly don't give any dates as to when they were written or registered.
