Quentin Tarantino is one of the best filmmakers around when it comes to picking music, and the soundtrack to his latest, "Death Proof" (part of the "Grindhouse" double feature) is no exception. In addition to nuggets from Jack Nietsche, Ennio Morricone, Joe Tex, the Coasters, Eddie Floyd and April March, the soundtrack features the great version of "Baby It's You" recorded in 1969 by the white R&B band Smith.

And the other link is that the inimitable Eliza James, violinist to the stars, spent a quiet evening talking to Mr Tarantino in a coffee house in LA without actually realizing who he was... we get a lot of those stories... we call them "Liz moments"....
