Streisand also does a remarkable version of "Be Aware" on the BB special and comments that BB & HD wrote it for her. Too bad she never released a studio version; anyone know if she ever recorded one? That said, Dionne's wonderful recording still remains, and Laura Nyro recorded a splendid cover late in her career, as well.
