This is a clip of brilliance! One of my Fave songs of Burt's, and a great
orchestral and vocal performance by TJ, otherwise known as Tom Jones, back in the day...I enjoy watching the whole scene on this clip..
The sound of the 3 girls harmony at the end ah whoa whoa oh..slays me...
: )
enjoy!

While we're on Tom Jones, and the recent discussion of John Barry in another post on here....
Here's the fantastic Thunderball Theme, sung by Mr. Jones...
If you don't mind my saying, he sings the H*LL out of it!
This video is really just an mp3 of the song with a poster in the backround, so it's just audio...
Fantastic orchestration....I always anticipate or wait for the ending where he goes up high on the last note, and the orchestra blasts on a minor 9th chord....
What does one do for an encore...stand on one's head and stack bb's...???
lol

If you can find any TJ live LPs from the 60s Vegas shows, treat yourself to a listen, especially to the between-song banter.
TJ: "Crikey, isn't it 'ot in 'ear, ladies ... "
(Cue: many ladies screaming as another shirt button bites the dust.)

Daddy Dom,
Legend has it(or so I have heard throughout the years) that TJ will not perform with too much air conditioning in a Vegas showroom, as it tends to make him sick....I wonder how true this is...
