Burt's music (and Hal's lyrics) will live forever... because they're timeless songs. And it's great to see how they can be adapted into different styles by different singers and arrangements.

Just saw Patty Ascher on a Brazilian TV show hosted by another Brazilian singer (from the 60's pop music scene) Ronnie Von called TODO SEU (All Yours in English)...and the girl didn't dissapoint...she sang her Bossa Nova version of "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" accompanied by an awesome jazz band...at the end of her performance Ronnie praised the project (Bacharach + Bossa Nova) and Patty's vocal abilities...
By the way...Ronnie Von also had his touch on a Bacharach&David tune, recording "Close To You" in the early 70's
