id just like to say that the original "stock arrangement" put out in 1966
for Alfie arranged by Johnny Warrington sucks. I don't know if Johnny is dead, and I don't mean to offend him(I'm sure he did a lot of good arrangements) but he missed the boat with Alfie, as far as I'm concerned.
I wonder if there are other musicians who have experienced stock arrangements for big bands with tunes by Burt...and if there are any "good ones" out there.
