Burt in Italy!

Ho letto con immenso piacere che il grande Burt terrà concerti in Italia nel prossimo mese di ottobre: il 26 a Milano al Teatro degli Arcimboldi, il 27 a Firenze al Teatro Verdi ed il 28 a Roma all'Auditorium di via della Concilazione.
Bacharach on Tour (in Italy):
Oct. 26 Milan, Teatro degli Arcimboldi
Oct. 27 Florence, Teatro Verdi
Oct. 28 Rome, Auditorium di via della Conciliazione

Thanks guys - London to Rome for a weekend for a BB concert sounds wonderful.
Where can I book tickets for the Rome concert on-line? Is there a reliable Italian ticket agency?

With due respect but to me mario biondi is not a great singer!
He does not pronounce the words right and is so out of key.
I dont think that Burt (the genius) would like to hear it.
Listen carefully how Burt and Ron are doing it Live on Stage.

Marcel!!you're absolutely right...with all my respect to Mario Biondi his craft cannot be compared to the Great Old Buddy of ours!!!i don't know for which chemistry he had the luck to be involved in such a deal!!anyway...i'll be at the concert in milano but i'm not so excited anymore about it...bye Gabba

sorry my friends, but I totally disagree with you on Mario Biondi appearing as special guest, in Burt's 3 days italian tour, next month. Mario Biondi has a peculiar voice. his singing modes recall Isaac Hayes and Barry White. His Jaaz band is a very good one.He is also a pretty good saxophone player. Mario recorded recently - Close to you - But I hope he will sing:The windows of the world .I'm much intrigued by his rendition of this beautyfull song. I think You have been to hard in your judgements on Mr Biondi's vocal qualities.

I'm going to explain it carefully because i don't want to be taken like the "one" who likes to complain:
Mario Biondi has an excellent vocal material with a good projection of the sound.
The problem for me is that the way he sings does'nt fit Burt's music.Most of all the english pronunciation.
This is my simple and personal opinion.bye GABBA
