Make It Easy On Yourself Covered by ???

Hi all!
In the "This is Now" documentary, there is an Indian woman singing Make it Easy on Yourself? Who is she? I liked that version with the sitar.

3.burt bacharach(part voal by him and part instrumental w/fantastic orchestration

Don't forget the Walker Brothers' hit version, which made it to the top of the charts in Britain. Very soulful. I think the Righteous Brothers should have done a cover of this song as well. It would really have suited them.

In Brazil, the most well-known version sems to be Oscar Toney Jr's. Not listed in the above post, incidentally.

The Walker Brothers' version is how I first came to know the song. The arrangement is quite close to Bacharach's original for Jerry Butler's 1962 hit single but with a more brooding vocal and a bit more Spectorian Righteous Brothers-styled bombast. It was 1965, the year the Righteous Brothers broke, after all. I believe The Walker Brothers' version is actually the highest charted version of the song in the U.S., reaching #16 in November of that year. Butler's is the only other version to reach the top 20.

Ericha, I'm clueless as to who does the cover in the documentary
(the fragment sounds very interesting).
"Make it Easy on Yourself" just happens to be my favorite
Bacharach composition.
I'm only familiar with the following (well-known) covers:
Burt, Jerry Butler, Dionne, Isley Brothers, Ron Isley w/BB,
Walker Brothers, Edwin Starr, Elvis Costello.
Anyone interested in making a collection of covers that we
