We all know about The Hitmaker Archive and what a great database that is.
I found another phenomenol database of Burt songs and the people who recorded them. Check this out and be amazed! If the link below doesn't work right, then go to www.allmusic.com.
Regarding the database....In the words of Steve Allen..
"It's the most.....to say the least!"(to watusi in the west and do the slauson in this east!)
Very cool!

On this database, I saw page after page of listings for "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head", so I was very curious about how many versions of that song were done. So I counted them. I am happy to report that 392 versions of "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" were recorded! 392 versions of just that one song!

Yeah, that's a lot of versions of Raindrops-392....
And still the first version is probably the best!(B.J. Thomas)

I totally agree with that. If ever a song was made for B.J. Thomas, it has to be "Raindrops". I know that he did "Everybody's Out of Town" and "Long Ago, Tomorrow", too... but I wish Burt and Hal had used him even more. I think B.J. Thomas had one of the great pop voices of all time.

Yes, blue, wonderful!! I could listen to his voice no matter what he sings. But "I Just Can't Help Believing" that he'd have had even greater success with more Burt and Hal songs!
