This beautiful box set is highly recommended; it actually is about five years old, and is out of print, though still available from some merchants as Steveo's link shows. It was a release of Hip-O Select, and was put together with the same loving care that has guided Hip-O's indispensable COMPLETE MOTOWN SINGLES series of box sets. It's a real must-have for all Burt fans, and quick "one stop shopping" for those great A&M years (with some bonuses, too.)

Joe,
Thanks for setting me straight about it being 5 years old..I'd never seen it before.....
It's quite an awesome collection..I wonder how the mastering is(how does it sound?)
I hope they improved the Butch Cassidy soundtrack, because that was mastered pretty awful originally..

Steveo, I bought this about 2 years ago for about $100 dollars from a US website (I live in London UK). Highly recommended: the sound quality is fine throughout.
This was the album that introduced me to the vastly under-rated "Are You There (With Another Girl)" and the legendary "Hasbrook H". Buy and enjoy! Oh, and a wonderful "House Is Not a Home" similar to his current concerts with Burt solo at the piano, which then blooms into a tremendous orchestral blitz to finish. The version of Nikki is a bit tame, though.

Now Medical,
Well, It must be quite a collection to own! Thanks for the info on the mastering!
Regarding Nikki...well it's kind of a tame song, nevertheless I dig it.....BUT.. I've always felt the best version was by Harry Betts and his Orch...that Harry made for The early 70s TV series ABC- TV "MOvie of the Week".....Its on the net under tv themes..
