Sad and Glad!

Im very sorry that the great genius Maurice B. Depackh, one of Hollywood's great orchestrators, didn' live long enough to meet up with Burt Bacharach and orchestrate
some of his music.It would have been a wonderful thing....(Depackh died of a heart attack in 1960)...But I am glad that Leo Shuken and Jack Hayes(the team of Shuken and Hayes - more great Hollywood orchestration veterans) were able to work with Burt on a lot of pictures....together they produced some wonderful sounds........
