Hi everyone,
Currently, I'm searching for the music sheets of the duet version with Barbra streisand of: close to you. (
See version. 1971 Burt and Barbra)
Sad enough I can't find it anywhere. Determined to, I've even asked the local stores here in Amsterdam, but they don't even have it.
I am desperate to find them and was hoping that anyone could tell me if they are to be found anywhere. please please please help me, I really need to find them!

Something like that would not be published...it was a "one off," meaning a one time thing done on a tv special..over a quarter of a century ago..the charts for that arrangement are stored somewhere in a dusty warehouse(probably in Britain) and probably will never see the light of day...

Hmm, I see, but did I mention that it was performed again last year in Sydney? A different key, but maybe I can find that version somewhere??

your best bet it to take a tape or a cd of it to someone who can write out what he or she hears for you in a piano version that you can play..it mite be a little pricey hiring someone to do this, but probably the only way......

If Burt used that arrangement last year in a different key, his music librarian might have a copy of that....who that would be, or how you would contact him, I wouldn't know. You would want a copy of the "piano-conductor" part.

I wanted the songbook for "At This Time" IN THE WORST WAY!! I would have run through fire to get it, too. But, alas, it hasn't been published. Thank god they published the songbook for "Painted From Memory." When I got my hands on that, I felt like I found the pot of gold under the rainbow. I guess I'm not so lucky with "At This Time".
