Burt has scheduled his annual performance in San Diego as part of the Symphony's Summer Pops series ......... This years concert is Sunday evening, August 16th. Subscription packages are available now - individual tickets go on sale in early May.

This means he's getting better, thank God!

The correct date for Burt Bacharach and the San Diego Symphony is Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 7:30 pm. I already have my concert ticket. Now I just need my airline ticket! (August 16 was the date for the concert in 2009. On the San Diego Symphony website "Concert Calendar Summer Pops", they bring up the old 2009 Summer Pops series calendar.)

How did you get your ticket to the concert already ? Are you a Symphony Subscriber ??
In any case, I am thrilled that Burt will be returning to San Diego. I had great seats last year and hope to have similar this year, although I must wait for May 3rd since I am not a subscriber.
May the Maestro continue to a full recovery. It will certainly be a fabulous show with a more than grateful audience hailing his return....especially those of us who had hoped to see him at other venues earlier in the year.
