According to a Simon & Schuster webpage - a 384 page hardcover biography entitled "The Amazing Dionne Warwick Story" is scheduled for release this coming November. ......... Perhaps this will provide some additional insight regarding the BB/HD/DW working relationship and address some of the issues that have been discussed in this forum from time to time.

Available @ a Pre-order price of $17.16 @ amazon.com ......... Amazon identifies Warwick as "author" (although it's not billed as being an autobiography) - and - David F. Wooley as "contributor". I recall Dionne stating in recent interviews that she had no immediate plans for such a project. ...... Probably some incomplete, inaccurate preliminary information at this time.

Anyone have some additional insight into this pending publication??

Mr. Wooley is the co-author of the children's book "I Say A Little Prayer" Dionne put out last year. So, it looks like she is doing an autobiography of sorts after all. Maybe with Wooley she has found a partner with whom she can write about the inspirational aspects of her career but doesn't have to reveal too much about herself. I'd be very surprised if this turns out to be a "tell all" book.
