After seeing the show this past Friday night, I can vouch for the accuracy of this critic's review of "Promises, Promises." It's a huge crowd pleaser, a lot of fun, the music and singing are great, and though Chenoweth may not be perfect for the role of Fran Kubelik, she more than holds her own. The audience absolutely adores Katie Finneran, too, and rightfully so. She's simply amazing. I highly recommend taking in the show if you have the opportunity!
