Hi all,

This is my first post; I've been a Burt Bacharach fan for most of my life and just discovered this forum. I have a question about a Youtube video I came across while looking for something nice to post for Mr. Bacharach's birthday:

Can anyone identify the source of that clip? I've looked for a BB "videography" on the web and haven't been able to find one. (Is there one?) The ITC logo led me to an IMDB listing: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0960046/... judging by Dusty Springfield's hairstyle, this might be right but I'd love to know for certain. I would also love to see more clips from this show, but the "tagging" on Youtube is frustratingly inaccurate. Links to additional bits of the show would be greatly appreciated!

I tried to catch all of Burt's TV Specials in the 60's and 70's. I don't specifically recall seeing that clip which I really enjoyed; however, I suspect it is from one of those BB TV Specials - or - perhaps a show that Dusty hosted in the UK around that time. Reminded me of a conversation I had with Burt on the beach here in Del Mar in the mid 70's (post "Lost Horizon") when he, Dionne and Hal David were no longer working together ......... I asked Burt about an item I had read in an entertainment column about he and Dusty working together on a new project. Burt stated that it was "news to him" - but - that he really would like to - and - admired her as a vocalist who had successfully recorded some of his music. This was at a time when Dusty was not actively recording either. Obviously no such project ever materialized (to the best of our knowledge). In retrospect - I think they could have mutually inspired each other to deliver some great songs!

I'm pretty sure the Burt and Dusty clip is from "Another Evening With Burt Bacharach"
I remember watching it in the early seventies.
