Hi folks, I am a new member and am looking for information on obtaining Sheet Music for Bacharach Medleys and would be most grateful if anyone can help. I have tried the usual outlets including Hal Leonard to no avail. I know the Carpenters did quite a number of those and more recently, have seen excellent medleys on You Tube for American Idol or such and would reallly like to be able to get some copies
Many thanks in advance - Aindre

HI,
I have a book of his music-don't know if that is what you are looking for or if you want individual songs. These are entire songs - about 40 of them. It is called Burt Bacharach anthology. I know the medley you mentioned that the Carpenters did. I don't know if there is sheet music for that, but the medley is great!

I'm under the impression that medleys are not published as such, ordinarily. Most often, the individual artist or group designs its own medley, making use of the songs they like and rendering them in a style that suits their particular talents. Since medleys always vary in length and number of songs included, they are too difficult to publish as separate works. I say all this as a musician but not a performer; I'm guessing this is the case.

Steve is right, most of the medleys are not published...One of Burt's best was his medley of songs played on a 1970? or 71? special from Singer, I believe, where it starts with the "look of love..."
A wonderful chart with musical supervision by the british JAck Parnell, I'm surmising.....
The Carpenters medley of Burt's songs was published as a piano piece way back when...
that much I know, so you may be able to get that one on Ebay or someone on the site
here may have a copy.
Happy NEw Year.....
