I heard Bob Dylan say that this was his absolute favorite song by Bacharach. He mentioned that he would play it "incredably loud" while he taking his morning shower. Isn't that totally cool?

Know that Joan Baez and Dylan were both big Bacharach and Warwick fans. There was footage posted on YouTube about a year ago (now removed) of Baez, Melina Mercouri and other celebrities attending a Paris Warwick concert from about 1972 and grooving along to Warwick's famous hit-record medley. Janis Joplin and Alice Cooper were also fans. Warwick was a singer's singer. Many folks underestimate the influence of Warwick/Bacharach/David and Warwick seems to underestimate it as well!
